CSE 490 - VR

Act 3 Lab

For group 3, we will be testing gaze based interaction due to the many possible transitions our section has. As a lot of the action cuts from the star people/rebels to Blue Eyes, we believe that this type of interaction allows us to tell the story in a more fluid manner, with both us and the user being able to control when the story unfolds.

The scene we will be testing out gaze-based interaction will be where Blue Eyes is running away. The user can watch them run away, while meanwhile, the scene of the star people is at a standstill. The story will continue when the viewer turns back to the star people.

If the viewer ends up turning the wrong way or doesn't end up turning at all to face the star people, after a period of time, the stars will come out.

On Tuesday, we plan to group up our research on gaze-based interaction from the weekend and begin our tests.
